  1. Microsoft Word 2007:(Used to format documents such as a report)
    • Work through this tutorial that teaches you basic features
    • Demonstrate your understanding by formatting this text document so it uses ALL the features you learnt in the tutorial e.g. wordart; tables; alignment; columns; pictures; picture effects; page borders; page background; headings;
  2. Microsoft Powerpoint 2007: (Used to format documents as a presentation)
    • Work through this tutorial that teaches you the basic features for your assessment
    • Demonstrate your understanding by formatting this text document so it uses ALL the features you learnt in the tutorial e.g. Adding slides; Animations; Background theme; Exporting as a Powerpoint Slide Show e.g. pps; 3 images; 1 movie; 1 website link; background music;

  3. Microsoft Excel 2007: (Used to make calculations)
    • Download this xlsx to your H drive under the digitech folder Information or 91071. It has sample data you will use to practice basic spreadsheet features.
    • Open Tiki CafĂ©.xlsx and work through this tutorial before you begin the assessment.

  4. Google Forms: (Used to collect feedback such as a survey)
    • Create 20 questions for a survey using a topic of your choice. Write these in google docs(you will need a gmail email if you don't already have one) and share with Miss.
    • Create an online survey using Google Forms
    • When you have 20 responses, follow these instructions to export your survey results to an Excel CSV file. Open the file in Excel and try and use the countif() function to total your gender and yes/no questions.
